About Us

As a husband and wife team, Randy and Heidi Stewart launched Blue Horizon Therapy in the summer of 2011 with the mission to provide exceptional child centered care to families in the Southwest Denver area. Combining Randy’s sales management experience and Heidi’s clinical experience as an Occupational Therapist, the husband and wife team have steadily grown Blue Horizon Therapy together. Our daily goal is to establish and maintain relationships with our clients, their families, and payers of services while providing exceptional care that is client driven and focused on independence.

Randy Stewart

CEO and Owner

Randy Stewart and his wife, Heidi founded Blue Horizon Therapy, LLC in 2011. Randy was born and raised in the Pacific Northwest where he was an avid steelhead fisherman and raced motorcross. He received an Associates Degree in 1989 from Universal Technical Institute in Automotive and Diesel Technology and has worked predominantly in the industrial and manufacturing fields in sales and management. After 22 years in those industries, Randy decided to go into the outpatient healthcare business with his wife. Randy enjoys golfing, fishing, and bow hunting. He lives with his family and several pets in the Roxborough area of Littleton, Colorado.

Heidi

Heidi Stewart, M.Ed., OTR/L

Clinical Director and Owner

Heidi Stewart and her husband, Randy founded Blue Horizon Therapy, LLC in 2011. A native of Colorado, Heidi left her home state to attend Pacific University in Forest Grove, Oregon where she graduated in 1994 with a Bachelors of Science in Occupational Therapy. Heidi worked for 5 years as a pediatric Occupational Therapist in a local school district in the Portland metropolitan area while also occasionally working weekends in acute care psychiatry at St. Vincent’s Hospital. In 2000, Heidi moved back to her home state with her husband. Since her move back to Colorado, Heidi has worked at Children’s Hospital, Elizabeth School District, and Douglas County School District. In 2011, Heidi completed her Masters of Education with an emphasis on Autism Education from Regis University. Heidi enjoys reading, hiking, and most of all spending time with her husband, Randy and their two children.

Felicia Janeck, M.S., SLP/L

Speech Language Pathologist

Felicia grew up in Utah and attended the University of Utah for both her Bachelor of Science in Speech and Hearing Science and her Master of Science in Speech-Language Pathology. She worked for Jordan School District in Utah from 1984 to 1987. After re-locating to Colorado, Felicia began working for Douglas County School District in 1988 and continued to work there until retiring in 2013 after 25 years. She enjoyed working with students ranging in ages from five to fourteen, who had a variety of  language disorders. She strives to make her students achieve their goals while having fun. She currently resides in Castle Rock, CO. Felicia’s passions are spending time with her grand children and traveling with her husband. Her hobbies include playing golf, attending Zumba classes and socializing with friends.

Monica Ritzdorf COTA/L

C.O.T.A (Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant)

Monica graduated from St. Mary’s College in Minneapolis, Minnesota in 1985 with an Associate Degree of Applied Science in Occupational Therapy. She previously studied at St. Cloud State University in Minnesota in Special Education.  Monica has 30 years of Occupational Therapy experience.  She has been working in the pediatric field since 2001. Previously she worked in the field of adult physical rehabilitation in many areas such as hospitals, home health care and skilled nursing facilities.  She was also a faculty member at Arapahoe Community College in the Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant program from 1995-2002. She lives in Highlands Ranch and has two teenage boys, 14 and 17. She enjoys hiking, reading and gardening, as well as watching her kids play many sports.

Courtney Coffman COTA/L

C.O.T.A (Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant)

Courtney recently moved to the Denver area from Indiana, where she attended and graduated from Brown Mackie College with an Associates Degree of Applied Science in Occupational Therapy in 2014. She previously studied at Ball State University with a focus in Exercise Science. Courtney has spent the majority of her clinical experiences in the pediatric field and enjoys this area of occupation tremendously, given her large family background. Courtney believes in creating a highly skilled, caring, and empathetic environment for all families that attend Blue Horizon. Courtney also works in adult Home Healthcare and enjoys the overall idea of helping those around her to function independently and to their maximum capacity. Courtney enjoys spending her free time outside in nature, reading books, watching documentaries, and playing  sports of all kinds.
Sarah

Sarah E. Yost, OTD, OTR/L

Occupational Therapist

Sarah is a Registered and Licensed Occupational Therapist in Colorado. She earned her Doctor of Occupational Therapy from Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis, MO in 2013. Sarah’s clinical work experience includes outpatient pediatrics and early intervention in the community. Sarah is passionate about children and has worked with children of all ages and abilities. She enjoys hiking and biking with her husband and puppy, and just being in the Colorado sun!

Stephanie Robbins COTA/L

C.O.T.A (Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant)

Stephanie is a Colorado native but has lived in Canada and New York. She is a mom to a gifted 5th grade girl and she actively volunteers at her daughter’s school. She has always had a passion for working with children and loves to create a positive, supportive environment for families. Stephanie spends her free time knitting, biking, boating and anything that involves spending time in the beautiful Colorado outdoors with her family.
